Ever since Zach was really young, he's been interested in cooking and eating fresh fruits and vegetables. Growing up Zach snacked on frozen peas (still frozen!) and carrots dipped in dijon mustard.
Since then his tastes have evolved. Zach spent a number of years advocating for healthier communities for kids as part of the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation and American Heart Association's PreventObesity.net network. As a recruiter and campaign manager, he interviewed leading childhood nutrition experts for initiatives and webinars.
Zach launched Literally Homemade in 2018 to make it easier for individuals and families to eat healthier. Everyone is so busy these days, it's hard to find time to cook a healthy meal at home. Zach wants to change that. With Literally Homemade, you have your meals ready to grab and go.
Zach also spent a 4 day retreat in Costa Rica studying with chefs about how to properly and creatively cook the local Costa Rican cuisine.
